This Southeast Asian country is ideal if you are looking for a quiet and different vacation. You will not lack beautiful landscapes, an ancient culture, and the opportunity to cultivate your spiritual life if you wish.
You can start your tour by visiting Venice, its capital city. There are many interesting places to visit. Among them is the Pha That Luang stupa, where the sternum of Buddha is believed to be kept. On the other hand, the Mekong, 4,480 km long, is the river that runs through it and separates it from Thailand. Very close to Laos is Cambodia, another fantastic destination to travel to in November. This country combines plains and mountains with the incredible landscape of the Mekong River delta. Nature gives us here some paradisiacal islands, such as Koh Rong, and impressive natural parks.
Without any doubt, you cannot miss Angkor, the main tourist attraction to see in Cambodia, due to its historical and cultural importance. There you can visit the Angkor Wat, a Hindu temple from the 12th century, as well as many others that were recovered very recently.
In Phnom Penh, its capital, you can enjoy the sunset on a boat trip on the Mekong River. And also visit museums that will allow you to learn about the darkest part of the country’s history, a genocide that took place between 1975 and 1978.
Other important cities are Battambang and Kampot. There you can enjoy a much more leisurely pace of life among rice fields and make excursions through the beautiful surrounding landscapes.

4. Canary Islands, where to travel in November in Spain

This archipelago of volcanic origin located in the Atlantic Ocean is a real treasure. Its always mild temperatures make the Canary Islands a perfect place to visit in November. There is a lot to see and enjoy in its islands. Although its beaches stand out, there are also volcanic landscapes and natural parks where you can go hiking.
Although all the islands are magical and different, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, and Tenerife are safe bets for all types of travelers. During your visit, do not forget to try the typical cuisine, which highlights the famous potatoes with mojo, gofio, and artisan cheeses.
If you are looking for nature, fun, and a slower pace of life without leaving Europe, the Canary Islands is a destination you will love to visit and you will not fail to return.
5. Mexico

This North American country is one of the most special to visit in November. The weather becomes drier and temperatures rise. But, beyond this and all that Mexico usually has to offer to tourists, that month is the Day of the Dead. And this celebration that honors those who have passed away is worth witnessing at least once in a lifetime.
In Mexico City, you can witness the spectacular parade with colorful floats that go through the streets, filling the streets with music. Other good destinations to spend this day are Oaxaca or Patzcuaro (Michoacan).
You can also enjoy some of the beautiful beaches on the Pacific. The Riviera Maya is truly paradisiacal and full of charming places. Some not to be missed are Cancun, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel.
Mexico is a truly unique destination. At any time of the year, you will be captivated by its beautiful landscapes, its rich history and culture, and its delicious food.
🏥 Wherever you’re traveling this November, it’s crucial to get travel insurance to ensure you have medical coverage in your destination country. I always use and recommend Heymondo, and I can offer you a 5% discount.

Argentina is such a large country that it comprises a great diversity of landscapes and climates within its territory. November is a great month to visit it since it is in the middle of spring and its temperatures are extremely pleasant.
Buenos Aires will be your gateway. You should spend a few days in this beautiful and huge city if you want to soak up its essence. The offer is vast in every sense. Whether you want to visit museums and historical sites, wander its streets in search of stores, stroll through picturesque neighborhoods, or be part of its hectic nightlife,.
But the interior also deserves a lot of attention. If you don’t have too many days, focus on Salta, Tucumán, and Jujuy, where you will find some of the most beautiful mountain scenery. Or in the south, visiting the enchanting Patagonia with its whales and glaciers, or maybe you prefer to do the wine route in Mendoza or visit the Mesopotamia and the Iguazu Falls?
As you will see, there is a lot to do and enjoy in this southern country. Of course, be sure to try the mate and its delicious wines and watch a tango show.

If you feel like traveling to the wonderful beaches of the Caribbean, you can find some of the most beautiful ones in the Dominican Republic.
If what you want is absolute comfort, you can stay in any of its fantastic resorts. But the truth is that this country has a lot to explore. Starting with Santo Domingo, its capital. The colonial area has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Beyond this, it is home to hundreds of places of interest.
But the most touristic place in the Dominican Republic is Punta Cana, with more than 48 kilometers of beaches with turquoise waters and huge sandy beaches. If you have the time and can indulge yourself, add an excursion to Sanoa Island.
8. Zanzibar

If you are looking for a more exotic and original destination for your vacation in November, get ready to visit Zanzibar. This wonderful island is part of the archipelago of the same name belonging to Tanzania. Where is it located? Off the coast of East Africa.
Its capital is Stone Town, a very picturesque place where you can start your tour. Both this city and Nungwi, which occupies the second place in tourist popularity, have hotels overlooking the coast and nice local stores and restaurants that you will be happy to visit.

Morocco is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world. Surely this is due to the richness of its culture and the beauty of its territory. Located in North Africa, one of the things that most captivates tourists from all over the world about Morocco is its authenticity and how much of its essence and origins it preserves.
On your visit to this African jewel, you will be filled with wonderful scents, colors, and sounds. The must-see cities are Marrakech, Fez, and Chaouen. An excursion to the desert is also a must.
There are many things you can do in this beautiful country: stay in a riad, go on a safari in the Sahara desert, get lost bargaining in its markets, visit a hammam, and indulge in the local cuisine.

This country has everything to offer you a unique experience (I’ve been there twice and I’m sure I’ll be back): charming people, delicious food and fruits, paradisiacal beaches, mountains that hide real treasures, and towns and cities with a lot of history to tell.
November is a good time to go, as the rainy season ends on the Caribbean coast. Here you will find destinations such as Cartagena de Indias, Santa Marta, or the Tayrona National Natural Park. On the other hand, in the Eje Cafetero there are usually rains but also sunny moments (this makes the vegetation look amazing). It is also a good time to go to the Colombian Amazon, Medellin, and Bogota.
